We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and/or by posting a notice on the Platform. The updated Policy will take effect from the date of publication.

2. What Personal Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal information:

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Full name and contact details (email address, phone number);

  • Billing address and payment information (processed securely by our payment processor — see clause 6);

  • Account login credentials;

  • Your professional role or occupation type (e.g., business owner, employee, property investor);

  • Questions, comments, and contributions you make in the community forum or live sessions;

  • Survey responses, feedback, and communications you send to us; and

  • Any other information you choose to provide when contacting us or participating in the Platform.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • IP address and device identifiers;

  • Browser type and operating system;

  • Pages visited and features accessed on the Platform;

  • Session duration and engagement data (e.g., lessons watched, calls attended);

  • Referring website or source; and

  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see clause 8).

2.3 Payment information

Payment card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored on our systems. We may retain records of transaction amounts, dates, and membership status for billing and compliance purposes.

3. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • to process your membership application and manage your account;

  • to facilitate payment, billing, and subscription management;

  • to deliver Tax Vault content, live sessions, and community features;

  • to personalise your experience based on your stated member type and interests;

  • to communicate with you regarding your membership, including account notices, renewal reminders, and support;

  • to send you educational content, updates, and promotional communications (where you have consented or where permitted by law);

  • to monitor and improve the quality and relevance of the Platform;

  • to enforce our Terms of Use and protect the rights and safety of our members and our business;

  • to comply with applicable legal obligations; and

  • for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or to which you have consented.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information where:

  • it is necessary to perform our contract with you (i.e., to provide your Tax Vault membership);

  • we have a legitimate interest in doing so (e.g., improving the Platform, preventing fraud, or enforcing our Terms);

  • you have given your consent (e.g., for marketing communications); or

  • we are required to do so by law.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

5.1 Third-party service providers

We may disclose your personal information to trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform, including:

  • GoHighLevel — our membership platform and CRM provider, which stores and processes member data including account information, engagement activity, and email communications;

  • Stripe — our payment processor, which collects and processes payment card information in accordance with PCI DSS standards; and

  • other technology or service providers engaged from time to time to assist in delivering, securing, or improving the Platform.


We require all service providers to handle your personal information in a manner consistent with applicable privacy law and to use it only for the purpose of providing services to us.

5.2 Legal and regulatory disclosures

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, court order, or government or regulatory authority, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

5.3 Business transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other business transfer involving our organisation, your personal information may be transferred to the relevant successor entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

5.4 We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

6. Overseas Disclosure

Some of our third-party service providers, including GoHighLevel and Stripe, operate servers or infrastructure located outside Australia. By using Tax Vault, you consent to your personal information being transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries outside Australia, including the United States.

Where we disclose personal information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure that those recipients handle your information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through contractual protections or by using providers certified under recognised international privacy frameworks.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These measures include:

  • use of secure, encrypted platforms for data storage and transmission;

  • access controls restricting personal information to authorised personnel only;

  • use of PCI DSS-compliant payment processors; and

  • regular review of our security practices.


Despite our reasonable precautions, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to affected individuals, we will comply with our obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website to:

  • maintain your login session;

  • remember your preferences and settings;

  • analyse website traffic and usage patterns; and

  • improve Platform functionality and member experience.

You may configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. However, disabling cookies may affect your ability to access certain features of the Platform. By continuing to use Tax Vault with cookies enabled, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this Policy.

9. Retention of Personal Information

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including:

  • for the duration of your active membership;

  • for a reasonable period after your membership ends, to manage any post-cancellation queries or disputes;

  • for such additional period as required by applicable law, taxation obligations, or regulatory requirements.


When personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it securely.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • request access to the personal information we hold about you;

  • request correction of any personal information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, or misleading;

  • make a complaint about how we have handled your personal information; and

12. Children's Privacy

Tax Vault is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected through Tax Vault.
